Technicalshoppers.in – Today, Saturday (4/2/2023) see the schedule of the semi-finals of Thailand Masters 2023. Two Indonesian representatives will compete for the final ticket to the Thailand Masters 2023.
Thailand Masters 2023 is one of the prestigious tournaments in the world of badminton, and will hold the semi-finals today at 12.00 WIB. The Thailand Masters semi-final match will take place at the Nimibuts Stadium in Bangkok.
Of the nine representatives that entered the quarterfinals, only two remained to qualify for the semifinals. Seven other delegates fell.
The two Indonesian representatives who made it to the semi-finals were Daniel Marthin/Leo Roli Carnando and Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri. The two men’s doubles are on separate paths, and will only meet if they reach the final.
Daniel/Leo qualified for the last four after defeating co-hosts Thailand, Wachirawit Sothan/Tanadon Punpanich. The duo defeated the men’s doubles of Thailand in straight games with a score of 21-5, 21-19.
Meanwhile, Baghas/Fikri qualified for the semi-finals after defeating their fellow countrymen, Rahmad Hidayat/Mohammed Rehan in a rubber game. The match ended with the score of 21-16, 16-21, 21-15.
Daniels/Leo will square off on Court 1 against host representatives Thailand, namely Kitinpong Kedren/Supak Jomkoh. Meanwhile, in Bagas/Fikri Court 2, they will take on Hong Wei/Su Ching Heng (Team Taiwan).
